Went there for a private reception. Lovely time. Food was tasty and the building, an old church, was charming and a good size. Plan ahead to spend extra time looking for a parking spot out there!

We had my great aunts celebration of life here. The image is beautiful, quiet, and the perfect size for our intimate but full affair. About 100 people with a buffet and sit down with 10 round tables, and it was perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive but unintrusive. Highly recommend them for any kind of intimate affair. There is a small parking lot on the side of the chapel as well for parking in case the large lots are full.

La Puertita is an amazing venue which has been restored with authentic Mexican decor. On May 18, 2025 my husband and I had a wedding Reception and were assisted by Andrea Ward. The table arrangements were discussed and it was also agreed that round tablecloths would be provided. The tablecloths were dropped off nice and pressed at the main office as instructed. On the day of the recepcion my Decorator arrived at the venue (La Puertita) to find the table arrangement was not as dicussed, wrinkled tablecloths and no event coordinador. After making a phone call one of the managers showed up with one person as backup. Gratuity is automaticlly applied, but in this case wasn't earned!

We rented this out for our wedding and it was fantastic! The only problem we had was that they put out too many tables and kinda ruined our 1st dance because there was no room to dance...even though we told them we wanted an open space to dance...they did remove the tables though and we ended up having to "redo" our 1st dance. Overall it was a beautiful space and we had a lot of fun.
